Salmon Caesar Salad Ingredients
- Wild Salmon. I prefer to use wild caught salmon because it is higher in heart healthy omega-3 fats. Frozen or fresh salmon fillets will both work perfectly. I get my wild caught salmon & seafood from SizzleFish; check them out and use code PRETTYDELICIOUSLIFE to save 10% off of your first order!
- Caesar Dressing. Be sure to use a fodmap friendly dressing. I like this dressing that is Monash University certified low fodmap.
- Parmesan Cheese. Shredded or shaved parmesan work best.
- Croutons. Opt for gluten free croutons that are unseasoned or at least do not contain onion or garlic powder.. If you're unable to find these you can make your own croutons with your favorite gluten free bread by drizzling it with garlic infused olive oil and sprinkling on on extra salt and italian herbs.
- Spices. Salt, black pepper and a little lemon herb seasoning or oregano will do the trick.
Expert Tips & Favorite Add Ins
- Air frying your salmon fillets helps to cut down on active cooking time.
- Try drizzling the salmon fillets with soy sauce & sesame oil and topping the salad with sesame seeds & scallion greens for an Asian inspired twist or brush them with a touch of pure maple syrup & dijon mustard to change things up.
- Add an extra serving of low fodmap vegetables like arugula or red bell peppers to punch up the flavors.
- Top the salad with fresh parsley or lemon zest for a little brightness.
Salmon Caesar Salad Step By Step Instructions
