Apple Cider Mocktail Ingredients & Tested Substitutions
Apple Cider. Fresh apple cider is my favorite option for this mocktail but if you don't have any then organic apple juice will work just fine.
Lemon Juice. Fresh lemon juice is preferable but bottled is fine. Alternatively, you may use lime juice instead if you prefer.
Cinnamon Simple Syrup. You can make your own by boiling equal parts sugar & water with cinnamon sticks until the sugar has dissolved. I took the shortcut and used premade syrup!
Something Sparkling. This is where you can get creative! I used my favorite non-alcoholic prosecco, but you can also use ginger beer, ginger ale, club soda or sparkling water.
Garnishes. You'll need some fresh apple slices, cinnamon sticks and rosemary sprigs for garnish.
