Instructions
Build the cocktail. Add ice cubes, vodka, white chocolate liqueur, espresso and simple syrup to a cocktail shaker.
Shake the cocktail. Shake vigorously for around 30-40 seconds.
Strain, garnish & serve. Once you've given the cocktail a good shake, strain it into a chilled martini glass. Garnish with fresh whole coffee beans and enjoy.
Notes
For a smooth, creamy top I recommend using freshly brewed espresso. Another great way to achieve a frothy espresso martini if you don't have fresh espresso available is by using a few drops of cocktail foamer. It works to create a smooth, creamy foam on top when shaken.
Double straining the cocktail is also another way to ensure you create the creamiest possible espresso martini.
If you're someone who suffers from IBS or other gut related issues and you'd like to make this a low fodmap cocktail, simply omit the white chocolate liqueur.
